Joseph M. Ghabour, Esq.

Joseph M. Ghabour is the founding attorney of Joseph M. Ghabour, Attorney at Law, LLC with offices in Jersey City and Matawan, New Jersey. Dedicated to the diverse communities that make up New Jersey, Mr. Ghabour is dedicated to service of the community.  Mr. Ghabour graduated from Rutgers University with a major in political science and a minor in psychology.  Shortly after his graduation from Rutgers University, Mr. Ghabour was employed with Prudential Securities and New York Life Securities in the Information Technology Department.  Mr. Ghabour graduated from the City University of New York, School of Law in 2 and 1/2 years.  CUNY’s philosophy of “Law in the Service of Human Needs” was in line with Mr. Ghabour’s desire to serve the community that had given him so much.  Having worked in Gentile & Associates in New York, NY, during and shortly after law school wherein he worked on Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases, Mr. Ghabour returned to his hometown of Jersey City and founded The Law Offices of Joseph M. Ghabour, P.C., which later became Joseph M. Ghabour, Attorney At Law, LLC. 

Licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for New Jersey, his practice includes personal injury cases, immigration, criminal defense, landlord-tenant law, real estate law, family law, bankruptcy, loan modifications and traffic violations.

As the community’s needs expanded to Central New Jersey, Mr. Ghabour opened an additional office in Matawan, New Jersey to service the Central New Jersey community.

Mr. Ghabour is a member of the Coptic Orthodox Church of St. Mark in Jersey City where he serves as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. Committed to the people and communities he serves, Mr. Ghabour accepts pro bono work and is a firm believer in community involvement.
